The Public Sector Quality Award Ceremony (AKSA) 2008
held at PICC  Putrajaya
on the 27th of  November 2008.

1.      The Government has given opportunities to the Public Sector Employees who initially opted for the EFP Scheme to change to Pension Scheme. The effective option period is between 1^st January 2009 and 31^st January 2009. The implementation date is 1^st February 2009

2.      The Government has agreed to pay an ex gratia payment to parents of bachelors / spinsters who are government servants and who pass away in service. The effective date is 1^st January 2009
