The Prime Minister has announced the grant of Special
Payment RM500 for government pensioners to be made in mid August
2011. Pensioners retiring on or before 8th August 2011 and family
dependants of officers who died in service on or before 7th August
2011 will be entitled for payment. The
Special Payment will be credited directly for Pensioners receiving
their monthly pension thru bank accounts (Scheme A) and they can
withdraw the payment on 19th August 2011.
Recipient who needs to fill up the Pension Claim
Forms at bank counters (Scheme B) need not do so to claim their
RM500. It will also be credited directly into their bank accounts.
Recipient of monthly pension by warrants will
receive a warrant posted on the 19th August 2011 for immediate
encashment.
