FUNERAL ARRANGEMENT EXPENSES

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS FOR FUNERAL ARRANGEMENT EXPENSES IN ACCORDANCE WITH RULES UNDER TREASURY CIRCULAR NO. 3 OF 2010

1.

Who

Malaysian Government retirees who died on 15 October 2010 or after that date including retirees of Federal Government, State Government, Statutory Bodies, Local Authorities and retirees under EPF Scheme.

(The payment is not extended to derivative pension recipients)

2.

How much

MYR 3,000.00 (Malaysian Ringgit three thousand only) subject to deduction of overpaid pension, if any.

3.

Recipient according to priority

i)      Widow/Widower;

ii)     Children;

iii)    Parents

iv)   Family members who manages the funeral (Attach Letter of Oath)

v)    Other parties who manages the funeral (Attach Letter of Oath)

4.

Mode of application

Application forms can be downloaded from the pension portal www.jpapencen.gov.my, completed and submitted to Post Service Division (Pension) at the following address together with supporting documents:
