- A child studying in a local or foreign IHL
must complete
JPA.BP.SPT.B03a Form - Declaration of child studying
in IHL
- This form is to be returned to Pension Division,
PSD for action.
- Institution of Higher Learning (IHL) includes
private colleges offering first degree education or an equivalent
qualification.
- Child of the deceased is allowed to pursue Diploma,
Post-Grad Diploma and courses leading to the conferment of a first
degree or an equivalent qualification.
- It must be a full time course.
- The child must complete his/her studies
successfully within reasonable study period as stipulated by the
IHL.
- If the child of the deceased fails to complete
the course and is allowed to extend his/her study term for not
more less 2 years, as indicated by the IHL, the Derivative
Pension will be paid for the extended period.
