• Payment to the child would ceased upon marriage or upon attaining the age of 21 years, whichever is the earlier.  However this payment may be continued if the child is still receiving education at an Institution of Higher Learning but up to a first degree. 
   
• Payment to the retarded child is for life unless goes into marriage. 
   
• Payment to the dependant (widow/widower/child) would be continued after 12½ years from the date of his death while in service or date of retirement of the deceased, if the marriage was contracted while in service, on condition dependant is resident in Malaysia.  The payment after this 12½ period would be at the rate of  70%.
   
• If the marriage is contracted after retirement, payment of the Derivative Pension would be ceased after 12½ years of  retirement of the deceased.
