Government Pension Card is issued under Section 23, 1980
Pension Regulations for Public Sector Pensioner/Pension
Recipient or Section 20, Pension Regulations for Statutory and
Local Authorities for Statutory and Local Authorities
Pensioner/Pension Recipient. Pension
Card is a means of Pensioner's identification to enable
him to obtain medical benefits at a Government Hospital.
Pension Card facilities may be utilised by the pensioner/pension
recipient, and pensioner's wife/husband and children under 18
years or 21 years if still pursuing first degree studies (for
spastic child no age limit). |

Wrongful usage of pension card can
be prosecuted by law under Section 24 1980 Pension
Regulations for Public Sector Pensioner/Pension Recipient or Section
21, Pension Regulations for Statutory and Local Authorities,
whichever the case may be.
In case of any damage or mistakes
in the pension card, please contact 03-88854786 or address
to Pension Card Sub-Unit, Pension Division, Public Service
Department. Request for replacement of lost or damaged
pension card should be attached with a copy of Police Report.
The Pension Card must be returned
to the Pension Division, Public Service Department Malaysia when the
pensioner/pension receipient looses his right to receive pension. |
