PROCEDURE FOR MANAGING
DOCUMENTS FOR APPLICATION OF PENSION BENEFITS

The use of POWER has brought
about several changes in the management of pension documents
used in the application of pension benefits. Under POWER several new
documents have been introduced, which enable the documents being
sent via electronic media or/and manually. The forms required
may be downloaded from the portal/web and printed.

To facilitate agencies in
preparing of complete documents prior to the submission of the
application for retirement and pension benefits to this Department,
listed below is the list of documents according to the types of
retirement. This list should be used as a checklist by all
agencies in managing this matter:
Compulsory
retirement upon reaching the age of 55 or 56 years [Section10(1)]
