REPRESENTATIVE OF PENSIONER

Procedure of Application for Appointment of Representative 

This procedure explains the method of applying for the appointment of representative by a pensioner / pension recipient under B Scheme who is ill, to appoint his representative to manage his pension payment. The appointment is valid for one year.  However the validity of this appointment for an applicant to obtain exemption to comply with the requirement of resident in Malaysia is the same with that of this exemption but not exceeding one year.  

Pensioner / pension recipient must be of B Scheme besides ill and below  70 years.  The conditions required are:

  • Representative Appointment Form for pensioner / pension recipient who is ill. (JPA.BP.SKP.B07)

  • Certification of illness from a Government or Private Doctor (Part D of from JPA.BP.SKP.B07)

  • A copy of identification card of representative 

  • Pensioner / pension recipient who has a Joint Account - Pension Division will only accept appointment of representative of the person whose name is stated in the Joint Account of the pensioner / pension recipient.

  • A copy of identification card of pensioner / pension recipient.

  • Representative must be a Malaysian citizen aged 18 years and above.

  • The period approved is for one year only. If pensioner / pension recipient intents to renew the appointment, please submit a fresh application.

Pensioner / pension recipient who is ill and above 70 years.

  • Representative Appointment Form (JPA.BP.SKP.B07)

  • A copy of identification card of representative 

  • A copy of identification card of pensioner / pension recipient.

  • Pensioner / pension recipient who has a Joint Account - Pension Division will only accept appointment of representative of the person whose name is stated in the Joint Account of the pensioner / pension recipient.

  • Representative must be a Malaysian citizen aged 18 years and above.

  • The period approved is for one year only. If pensioner / pension recipient intents to renew the appointment, please submit a fresh application.

If pensioner / pension recipient intents to renew the appointment of his representative, he only needs to submit three months prior to the expiry of the appointment period.  The documents required amongst which are:

  • Representative Appointment Form for pensioner / pension recipient who is ill. .(JPA.BP.SKP.B07)

  • An application letter for renewal of representative appointment period from pensioner / pension recipient.
