• According to pension laws, any pensioner/pension recipient must reside in Malaysia to be entitled for him to receive any pension adjustment and other pension benefits. 
• To abide by this regulation, a pensioner/pension recipient intending to go abroad for a period exceeding three months is required to submit an application for exemption from the condition "resident in Malaysia" for the period he is abroad to be entitled to receive pension adjustment or other benefits, where applicable
